This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and protected in connection with your use of our mobile application (the "App"). It describes every category of information the App handles, where that information is stored, and every third party it is shared with. By using the App you accept the practices set out below.
The controller responsible for the processing described here is:
VN CONSULTING COMPANY DOO
Email: help@vnconsultingcompany.info
This information is stored only in the App's local storage on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, is not shared with any third party, and is not used for advertising. You can delete it at any time from within the App or by uninstalling the App, which removes it permanently.
To measure your pulse the App uses the device camera and flash. Individual camera frames are analysed in memory in real time and are discarded immediately; they are never written to storage, never included in a report, and never transmitted. Only the numerical result of a measurement and its processed pulse waveform are saved locally, as described in section 3.1. Camera access is requested through the standard iOS permission prompt and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
During onboarding the App asks a few short questions about how often you check your wellbeing and how you generally feel. Your answers are stored on your device only and are never transmitted. They are used to adjust the wording of the insights the App shows you. Our analytics providers (section 6) receive only the fact that a question was answered, identified by a short internal code for the question itself — never the option you chose.
If you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple. The App never sees or handles your payment card, bank details, or Apple ID credentials. To validate the purchase, restore it on a new device, and attribute it correctly, we receive and process the App Store receipt, the transaction identifiers it contains, the product identifier, the price and the currency of the transaction, and, where you have given consent for it, the transaction identifiers needed to handle a refund request.
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include in your message, and we use it solely to answer you.
Health information is treated as a special category of personal data. We handle it as follows:
The App is an informational wellness tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and its results should not replace advice from a healthcare professional.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share the categories of data described below only with the following named providers, each of which processes it on our behalf or as an independent controller for the stated purpose:
Every provider listed above is bound by a written agreement that limits their use of the data to the purposes stated here and requires them to apply protections equivalent to those set out in this Policy, including confidentiality, appropriate security measures, and restrictions on onward transfer.
No health information is shared with any of the providers above. The App does not send your pulse, blood pressure, blood oxygen, stress, energy, medication or reminder data to any of them.
The App does not use, contain, or connect to any third-party artificial intelligence service. No data of any kind — health information, questionnaire answers, usage events, or anything else — is sent to a large language model, a generative AI provider, or any external inference service. All measurement processing, trend analysis, insight text, statistics and reports are produced on your device by our own deterministic algorithms.
The App asks for your permission before accessing the Advertising Identifier, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the identifier is not accessed and no tracking based on it takes place. You can change this decision at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking, and you can additionally limit personalised advertising in your device settings.
Where the GDPR or a comparable law applies, we rely on: your consent (for tracking based on the advertising identifier, and for sharing purchase identifiers when handling a refund); the necessity of processing to deliver the service and to perform our agreement with you (purchase validation, subscription management); our legitimate interests (measuring and improving the App, diagnosing crashes, preventing fraud, attributing marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.
Beyond the providers named in section 6, we may disclose information when we are legally required to do so by a competent authority, when it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to any party that succeeds us through a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets, in which case this Policy continues to apply to the transferred data.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to the data we process, including encrypted transmission over HTTPS for everything the App sends. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
Health and profile information stored locally is kept on your device for as long as you keep it there and is removed when you delete it or uninstall the App. Purchase and receipt data is retained for as long as the subscription relationship lasts and afterwards for the period required by tax, accounting and consumer-protection law. Analytics, attribution and crash data are retained according to the retention settings of the providers named in section 6, and no longer than needed for the purposes described here.
The providers named in section 6 may process data in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area. Where such a transfer takes place, it is carried out under an appropriate safeguard, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, together with the contractual protections described in section 6.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw a consent you have given. Residents of certain US states additionally have the right to know what personal data is collected and disclosed, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of its sale or of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising — neither of which we carry out — and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Health and profile data is under your direct control on the device and can be deleted at any time without contacting us. For every other request, write to help@vnconsultingcompany.info. We respond within the period required by the applicable law, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
The App is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13, or under the higher minimum age that applies in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at help@vnconsultingcompany.info and we will delete it.
The App may link to external pages, such as the App Store listing or the pages of the providers named above. Those pages are governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them before providing information there.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be made available through this page before they take effect. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
